The Financial Crimes Task Force of Southwestern Pennsylvania is one of many law enforcement organizations investigating financial crimes, counterfeit checks and money orders, identity theft and financial fraud related matters in Western Pennsylvania and Northern West Virginia. Due to jurisdictional issues or specific issues regarding certain types of crimes, your complaint may be referred to another law enforcement agency or regulatory agency after it is reviewed by the Financial Crimes Task Force.

PLEASE READ BEFORE PROCEEDING
The Financial Crimes Task Force of Southwestern Pennsylvania primarily investigates financial crimes, including mail theft, identity theft, credit card fraud, counterfeit checks and money orders and other fraudulent financial activity taking place within the region of Western Pennsylvania and Northern West Virginia. If your complaint concerns mail theft, identity theft, credit card fraud, criminal or fraudulent financial activity outside this area, contact your local, state or federal law enforcement agency in the area where you live to file a complaint or report. Also, contact a law enforcement agency where the criminal activity has occurred and file a complaint or report.

THEFT, VANDALISM, TAMPERING of U.S. MAIL OR FALSE CHANGE OF ADDRESS
If you have a complaint involving theft, vandalism or tampering of U.S. Mail or a false Postal Change Of Address, CLICK HERE to contact the U.S. Postal Inspection Service to file a report. This link connects to the U.S. Postal Inspection Service Customer Complaint page. Complaints from anywhere in the USA are accepted here and are first reported to the U.S. Postal Inspection Service. The Financial Crimes Task Force has Postal Inspectors assigned to investigate complaints to the U.S. Postal Inspection Service within the region of Western Pennsylvania and Northern West Virginia.
